Antonio Montiel, a versatile and open-minded musician, has worked with artists of great stature such as Aida Gomez, Rafael Campallo, Javier Baron, “Compañia Andaluza de Danza”, Fernando Romero, Isabel Bayon, Alicia Marquez, Alejandro Granados, Andres Marin, Arcangel, Javier Latorre, Hiniesta Cortes, Angeles Gabaldon…

In 2002 he was summoned by Paco Jarana and entered to form part of the company “Eva la Yerbabuena”. He has taken part in shows such as: “Rinconete y Cortadillo”, “Inmigracion”, “5 mujeres 5”, “EVA”, “Malena”, “A Tiempo”, “Calixto y Melibea”, “Golpes de la Vida”, “El Vals Patetico”, etc. As a studio musician he has taken part in the making of the record of “Yerma” by Cristina Hoyos as composer and musician, on recording works by Jose Luis Rodriguez, on the soundtrack for the film by Cristina Hoyos…

Currently, he is a member of the “flamenco-andalusi” group Harmattan, along with Daniel Mendez, among others, and also forms part of the jazz trio Pandemoniun, together with Miguel Vargas y Jesus Lavilla. His compulsive fixation with other music and cultures introduced him to the world of jazz guided by maestros as Dan Raiser y Guillermo Maguill, participating in various flamenco-jazz seminars.
