VICTOR BRAVO
dance

He was born in Seville on June 15th 1977, and raised in a modest family fond of Flamenco. He began his Classical and Flamenco Dance studies at the age of four in the Matilde Coral Dance High School, graduating at the age of fifteen. He then went abroad to work and further his studies.

A very eager character and keen to investigate, he began to search for other registers, starting an apprenticeship with great directors and teachers. At the age of 17 he returned to Spain, where he began working with Spanish directors as a soloist and principal dancer, learning the discipline of leading dance companies.

In his endeavour to enrich his expression codes he went to Japan, where his phase as choreographer and director commenced. Following the success of his work, a mixture of different styles and cultures, he returned to Spain and began a gratifying period creating dance and theatre pieces as well as his personal flamenco style, earning immensely positive reviews all over the world.

Nowadays he directs his own company and continues to investigate new rhythms, movements and cultures.
