After the success of INMIGRACION, the Angeles Gabaldon
Company presents its new show, TALLER FLAMENCO.
The excellent period of her professional career that this
sevillian dancer is currently enjoying and the need to create a
show with a smaller format than INMIGRACIÓN has led the company
to lochk itself in the studio and create a completely new show.
This experience is the result of her artistic restlessness
and desire to open new horizons, recovering dances and
styles that, for one reason or another, we have less and less
opportunity to enjoy.
It is a tremendously original creation, and will help
recover a number of styles that have fallen into the deepest
ostracism in recent years. We are referring to dances such as
the zambra, the guajira, the farruca, the serrana and the
petenera, which have been studied and reinterpreted
through the contemporary perspective of today's flamenco.
Flamenco that is opening itself up to the world and showing its
hidden treasures, discarding the myth and the legend in order to
build a discourse much more in step with the times we live in.
